SHT-05Questions
What purchasing offices ask.
How do you handle Section 889 and covered equipment?
Smartech can specify NDAA-compliant cameras, access control hardware, and supporting technology when required by procurement or project standards. Every manufacturer is named in the device schedule.
Bidding is contracting in Florida. What does that mean for us?
Under Florida 489.505, the negotiation or bid for a contract on these services also constitutes contracting. Ask every bidder for its license number with the bid.
Can you work under our existing term contract?
Where Smartech is an awarded vendor, yes. Where it is not, your purchasing office decides which vehicle applies. Send us the solicitation number and we will answer within 24 business hours.
