Who is responsible for your data

What data we collect

What you type into the forms: name, job title, company, email, phone or WhatsApp, country, the service you are interested in and the job details.

And, without you having to type them: the language and page you send the form from, the first page you visited and, if you arrived from an ad or a campaign link, that link’s parameters (for example, utm_source or gclid).

What we use them for

To answer your request: send you the file or the quote, ask for any missing detail and follow up on that request. Campaign parameters tell us which ads and channels bring in requests.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

Where they are stored

The form sends the data to a Google spreadsheet (Google Sheets, through Google Apps Script) that only the Aegean Maritime team can access, and notifies us by email. Google processes that data as the service provider.

Third-party services on this site

• Google Fonts: the site’s typeface loads from Google’s servers, which receive your browser’s IP address.
• WhatsApp: if you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation is also governed by WhatsApp’s terms.
• Google Maps: the link to our address opens Google Maps, and only connects if you tap it.

What we store in your browser

• aeg_attr (local storage, 90 days): the first page you visited and the campaign parameters, so we know where your request came from.
• aeg_pre (session storage, deleted when you close the tab): what you typed in the short form on the home page, to carry it to the full form without putting it in the page address.

This site does not use cookies.

How long we keep them

We keep requests for 24 months from the last contact, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show, correct or delete your data, or to stop writing to you. Write to info@aegeanmaritimeca.com.

Changes to this policy

If we change it, we update the date on this page.
