Substationsand high voltage

Engineering, procurement and construction management for air- and gas-insulated substations, new bays and repowering.

A substation goes into service when every piece of equipment arrives on time, is installed to the design and is handed over with signed test records. We take on the full scope or the part the contract assigns us, and each job sheet says which one it was.

What the workincludes

  1. Basic and detailed engineering for yards, bays and control buildings, to IEC, IEEE and ANSI standards.
  2. Gas-insulated (GIS) and air-insulated (AIS) substations, including extensions with the station energized.
  3. Repowering: replacement of breakers, disconnectors, instrument transformers and busbars.
  4. Mobile substations and temporary bays to keep service running during the works.
  5. Installation supervision, site testing and commissioning with signed protocols.

The questionwe hear most

“Can you extend the substation without an outage?”

It is planned in stages: temporary bays or a mobile substation, switching agreed with the operator and short scheduled outages. The plan is delivered before pricing.
