The rule fits on one line: 1 friend who activates a monitoring plan = 1 free month of your bill. Up to 12 months in every 12-month period. Everything else is detail, and here it all is.
What counts as a referral.
A friend counts when they arrive through your link and activate a monitoring plan with Inhoome. Opening the link doesn’t count, asking for a quote doesn’t count, calling us doesn’t count: activating service does. Simple, so nobody has to guess.
What a month is worth.
Your month isn’t a gift card or a flat discount: it’s worth your full monthly bill. On the Basic plan that’s $49; on Advanced, $54; on Premium, $64. If your plan includes add-ons, it’s worth more.
An example: on the Advanced plan, four friends who activate a plan are $216 you don’t pay. Twelve friends are $648: your whole year.
When it’s credited.
Your month is credited once your friend activates service. You’ll see it on your Inhoome bill. If you refer several friends, each activation adds a month.
How far it goes.
The cap is 12 free months per 12-month period. In other words, you can go a full year without paying your monthly bill. What has no cap is the value of each month: it’s always your full monthly bill.
And what does your friend get?
Your friend gets their first month free when they activate a plan. Plans come with a 36-month agreement and a one-time fee from $99; your friend sees that in writing on their page before deciding, so nobody gets surprised.
What we’re still finalizing.
Two rules will be published before launch: how long your friend has to activate to be confirmed and what happens to your month if your friend cancels to be confirmed. Once they’re set, they’ll be in the program terms.
