What if I want to cancel later?
The best-priced plan is a 36-month agreement; after the term, it renews month to month. There is also a month-to-month option from day one: ask us for its price.
Before signing, ask for the term, the monthly price and the early cancellation cost in writing. And if you sign at home, Florida law gives you until midnight of the third business day to cancel. What to check in an alarm contract.
Are you licensed?
Yes. Inhoome Inc holds its own Florida licenses: EC13015198 (certified electrical contractor) and EG13000963 (Alarm System Contractor II). You can check them in the DBPR public lookup. How to verify a license in two minutes.
Do you speak Spanish?
Yes. Sí, hablamos español: on WhatsApp, on the phone and at your home. Message us in the language you prefer.
Who can see my cameras?
You, from your app. The system runs on the Alarm.com platform, which states in its annual report that it does not sell its subscribers’ data.
For businesses, we recommend keeping audio off or posting a sign: in Florida, recording a conversation requires the consent of all parties. Privacy at home and at your business.
Why an installed system if I can put up a camera myself?
If you only want one camera, a DIY one may be enough. An installed system is worth it when you want everything to work together (alarm, cameras, lock, lights and AC in a single app), with no exposed wires and someone who teaches you how to use it and answers when you need it.
